When I created our 2006 Christmas card, I wanted to put the little old church in Shaniko, Oregon in it. I drew it as a high desert scene complete with Steller's jay. With the berry in its mouth, even the noisy jay is quiet. It is Christmas Eve and the world waits in quiet anticipation of Christmas.
