Irish Bend Bridge Benton County, Oregon

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT Irish Bend Bridge was moved a number of years ago from its original location at Irish Bend, south of Corvallis, to its present location on a bike/walking path on the west side of the Oregon State University campus. Of course, as an OSU alum, I had to draw it for the October page of the covered bridge calendar to show off as much "Beaver orange" as possible. We can almost see it from our seats in Reser Stadium! The scripture verse for this picture was chosen in tribute to the spirit and character of the Beavers. Go Beavs!
